DescriptionIn honor of San Diego Comic-Con occurring now, thought I'd share a recent pick up, Freddie Williams's 2015 SDCC-exclusive cover to ST/GL #1. I love how well he captures the likenesses of the characters, including a determined GL/Hal Jordan and Chris Pine's Capt Kirk charging full-speed ahead. Done in Freddie's amazing ink wash style that really makes the blacks of the space background and the soaring Enterprise above stand out.Purchased directly from the artist who is always so gracious with fans. Freddie told me this was the first "crossover" work he ever did, although since he's gone on to illustrate many crossover titles like Batman/TMNT. Social/Sharing |
