Description

This splash/title page promised "The End of Spider-Man!" Thankfully that was wrong, but it sure did give us a striking and compelling opening to the story. The page featured a flashback/cameo appearance of the Green Goblin. Gobby first appeared in ASM #14, and this issue was just his third appearance.
