Description

From the Finlay estate, this is a variation on a similar prelim composition which I posted earlier. Possibly a rough, early version of the woman in a transparent rocket ship. I don't think this was ever turned into a cover, possibly a prelim for an interior illustration or something that was never used at all. The idea certainly had merit and could have been a beautiful illustration or painting that would have been a beauty!

I like the background with the concentric circles. It helps show the rocket's speed and acceleration busting through speed barrier bands of light and belts of radiation!
