Description

Another SDCC 2022 pickup. I am really happy DWJ went with a more atmospheric take on Erica Slaughter, the eerie and spooky woods were a big feature of the first arc of Something is Killing the Children. The stark contrast of the blood against the rest of the piece also gives me vibes of the issue 8 Jeff Dekal cover.

It's like he builds a diorama in his mind and then constructs this with the same approach. The pure white substituting for blood is very inspired.
