DescriptionBrett Booth has been keeping the Image 30th Anniversary fun for collectors by doing these "recovers" he is doing for all the early Image #1 covers. His Wildstorm redos have been awesome, but when he showed this off recently, I knew I had to have it even though I had just gotten home from SDCC broke and tired. But I managed to be first to claim this and was thrilled to get it. I have lined up Adelso Corona, one of Brett's recent inkers, to ink this and the Gen13 #1 redux, so I'll be sure to share those when I get them.As with most of his redraws, Brett changed it up so the pose is a homage to Rob's #1 from vol 1, but the look of Prophet is all Stephen Platt Prophet from vol 2. It makes for a very cool piece for sure! Thomas Mason inked and colored the piece on his own, so I am including his cover mock up he posted online, so it has his watermark. He did a great job, and inker Sal Regla also inked a version of this that is being shared online, but I commissioned inker Adelso Corona to ink this for me, so I will post that when I get it. Love this one Dave! Always liked Booths work, feel like he is underappreciated.
