Description

To celebrate the release of the Sandman series on Netflix, I present the other commission I was able to get at SDCC 2022.

Simple request - Sandman blowing sand. Amazing result.

Absolutely love the pose, the colors used, and the piece of art that Dave rendered.

Again, thanks to Dave for creating this wonderful addition to the other commissions, and to Allen for his help in making it happen.

Also, for those who might be interested, I have uploaded larger scans of most of the other pieces I have from Dave if you want to get a closer look at the detail. Cheers!

Will, Congratulations on obtaining this beautiful Dream / Morpheus painting by McKean. It may very well be his best commission of this character in this format to date.

Completing your Gallery of the Endless is a wonderful, and enchanting accomplishment. Thoughtfully imagined, and patiently put together over many years. A dream come true.

You now need only frame and display side by side so you can summon meetings with the Endless as your machinations deem necessary.

Stunning! What a dream of a commission! Morpheus--Dream himself--blowing sand! Such an elegantly simple gesture, but so filled with meaning! McKean really outdid himself here. I love the choice of colors and the beautiful way he executed the painting. It's one of the best Sandman commissions I've ever seen. Congrats!
