Description

This is a painting by Laura Roslof (Jim Roslof's wife). She is best known for her controversial artwork for the original orange cover version of TSR's Basic D&D Module B3, "Palace of the Silver Princess" but is fondly remembered for her time working for TSR's "The Dungeon! Hobby Shop." She did a good majority of the fun illustrations that were on the mailing envelopes that were sent out from the shop. The giant from this painting reminds me quite a bit of the giant illustration from one of the mailers.

These designs look like they interpret parts of mythological and legend stories from different cultures.
