Description

Gorgeous last page (15) & half-splash for the first chapter of Don Rosa's classic "The Life and Times of $crooge McDuck", "The Last of the Clan McDuck" (first published in 1992 it's my favorite Lo$-chapter, partially because the original "The Old Castle' Secret" (1948) is my favorite Barks story)...the page starts strong with Scrooge saying his goodbyes to his family and ends with one of my all-time favorite Rosa-splashes...young Scrooge sailing away, with his bright future in front of him...

Such a moving page worthy to be the conclusion to the great Scrooge epic. It closes that chapter and opens up the promise of so much more.
