Love this one pretty savagely, Mark! I grew up on the Pocket Book reprints of Silver Age Marvel books (like Spidey, the FF, Doctor Strange, Hulk, etc...) and I have SUCH a soft spot for the Living Brain confrontation from ASM #8! You an Ed hit a pitch perfect tribute here, with a great POV and (frankly) stunning inking touches all over the place; the tight, metallic hatching on the Living Brain (love the buttons and displays on its front paneling), the brushwork along the edges (now THAT'S velocity), Spidey's clean and powerful delineation... An obvious labor of love. Beautiful work, Mark - epic page!

Yeah, once I got this one back, I knew it was a keeper. I also love that original story in ASM #8 and a few years back I got to ink a Coipel cover for a reprint of the issue. Thanks for the kind words.
