DescriptionIf youve checked out my CAF page, you’d see that Berserk is by far my favorite fictional story. It is a dark fantasy tale created by the Kentaro Miura, of a struggler trying to find his place and keep those closest to him safe in a world that continues to take everything from him. I love this manga and not just for the heartbreaking story, the otherworldly art, but more importantly, it was a story that solidified a now 19 year friendship. I’ve been reading and enjoying this story since 2003, so after the passing of Kentaro Miura, it was heartwarming to see a lot of the western artist pay tribute to him, his legacy and Berserk. One such artist was the mega star DWJ. DWJ was the first artist I requested to get a berserk commission so I was really moved when DWJ payed his tribute during one of his Friday with DDubs. So you can imagine how extremely happy I am to be able to own this tribute piece and will always cherish it! Thank you DWJ and thank you Kentaro Miura for your art and the life long friendships I’ve made from it!Social/Sharing |

I'll always attach you to Berserk. Thanks for introducing me! This piece is amazing. Not your typical DWJ style. Love the heavy inks and white paint for highlights.

I hope you keep reading, Miura's art continues to evolve and just becomes something else! And totally agree, that's exactly why I really dig this piece, it isn't his typical style!
