Description

Batman and 85 villains…in color! My friend Johnny Vera just finished coloring a Batman piece I penciled and inked this past summer. I think he did an AMAZING job! For some reading this who may not know, coloring for comic books and other publications is done digitally on a computer. Here’s where I date myself….When I learned to color artwork, we used Dr. Ph Martin’s Watercolors. Regardless of the process, colorists are underrated. A poor colorist can really sink a piece of art. But in competent hands, colored work looks beautiful! In this case, I think Johnny hit it out of the park! Thank you, Johnny. Enjoy!
