Amanda Waller saves Oracle (Barbara Gordon/ Batgirl) from The Thinker. Then offers Oracle to join the team. There is no page that had a response. You just see Oracle as a member a couple issues later. Plus in classic Amanda Waller style she also forces The Thinker to join Suicide Squad.

The Thinker was one of the villians in the Suicide Squad #2 movie by James Gunn. Also a Suicide Squad spin off TV show featuring Amanda Waller was also recently announced by James Gunn

In the aftermath of the Killing Joke, Oracle was born. It was a shock with her appearances here as this meant that Killing Joke was not just an elseworlds tale. It shows that even in her darkest hour, she represents hope and there is purpose to carry on.
