Description
Cover was also printed in Reed Crandall, Illustrator of the Comics p134 (TwoMorrows 2017) by Roger Hill.

Best guess is inks are Chuck Cuidera.

Inappropriate depiction of Chinese member which was typical of its day -- DC corrected that in the 1980s and made him a full member with a standard team uniform -- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blackhawk_(DC_Comics)#Evolution_of_Chop-Chop

It's great to see a Blackhawk commission!  DC's war comics were my introduction to comic books, and Blackhawk was the third comic series Iever read.

That's an awesome cover!  Looks like it could have been drawn last week, not 1951.  Wow!

Looks in amazing condition for the age and it goes after mystery and science crowd more than the war comics of the title's origins pushing the Blackhawks to the background in reaction.  Who are we supposed to root for?  The evil magic or the evil scientist?

Wow! Gorgeous Blackhawk cover! I love the appearance of Lilith's head and hands in the smoke pouring out of the Chemist's flask! His terror is nicely done, as is the appearance of Blackhawk and team. Unfortunate depiction of Chop-Chop, but it reminds us of how much we've grown (We HAVE grown past that, haven't we?). Anyway, fabulous GA pick-up!
