This character was for a series Adam Lee and Max Dunbar were doing for Dragon+ magazine where they designed NPC's for players to use but Adam left WOTC before this one was published.

All that detail on the her wardrobe is like stitchwork.  The silhouettes behind her of all the bird wings almost look like tarantula legs giving her a sense of danger.

The bird resembles the Great Cormorant, which is known in New Zealand as the black shag. I wonder if this fair pirate runs the high seas in New Zealand.

Uber detail and love the bird silhouettes behind her.  And the grey tones take it over the top!  Must look that much better in person.  Congrats!
