Well, this page definitely brings back some memories. This early storyline with Jesús really sticks with me for some reason. Congrats on adding this magnificent page, Bob.

Thanks Mark. It sticks with me as well, as do so many of Gilbert's early stories.

The story hits like a Stand By Me with each of the four friends having their own little backstory and how they became close to Jesus. It's really touching that the rest of them climb up concerned on this page.

Great analogy, Marcus. Beto does a great job exploring their friendships and backstories.

I love the 9 panel layout and art style. I still wonder if I'll ever give reading L&R another chance some day....

You should. I will always recommend Beto's stories, both the writing and the art. The stories in the original 50 issue run are my favorite.
