Description

CeCe Beck is the successor to Captain Marvel in the far-future of the 90th Century on the planet Binderaan. Created by Jerry Ordway & Mike Manley, Thunder was introduced in The Power of Shazam Annual #1. She later traveled back in time to the 30th Century and joined the Legion of Super-Heroes.

I've seen some of the great LSH sketches Bill Walko has done, so I had a feeling he'd do a good job drawing Thunder. He was definitely enthusiastic about the idea, and I was very happy with the result. Drawn at New York Comic Con 2022.

Really cool character name homage! This is bright and cartoony in the modern animation style, but at its core it is just like the classic Captain Marvel designs from the past.
