I've never really read much Hulk but would invariably get sucked in for at least a few issues when a new strong Artist would be put on the book. Byrne, McFarlane, and definitely Keown. The thing I always loved about Keown is his ability to convey volume. His Art never feels flat.

Although this isn't a Hulk heavy page and it doesn't strike any special nostalgia chords for me... I do actually own a physical copy of this issue from back in the day, I didn't yet own anything from Keown (whom I really love), I always love Farmer's inking style, and the minor presence of the Hulk was probably the reason I didn't have to sell a kidney to afford it, so it didn't take much more than that to entice me to bid on it and I'm very happy to have added it to my collection.

Acquired via Heritage auction. Per the auction description: "Hulk and Pantheon battle the People's Protectorate. As the Green Goliath takes a beating from Crimson Dynamo, Atalanta shoots Vostok before she is struck by Fantasma."

Kudos on winning this one, Christian! It may only have a Hulk cameo appearance but it's a nice representative example of Keown and Farmer's work on this run. I really dig the 3rd panel in particular.
