7-2017...My first true original art that was actually published! Met David Finch at a convention, bought these pieces directly from him, and eventually got them framed. There are so many things that I love about these pages...
- Batman (Bruce Wayne) and nearly all his Robins (Dick Grayson, Damian Wayne, and Jason Todd) + recently created The Signal (Duke Thomas) together and in their civilian identities
- Fast food joint "Batburger" really reminds me of "Planet Krypton" from Kingdom Come
- So many Easter Eggs like Bat-Mite for the Gotham equivalent of a Happy Meal with toy Red Hood that Jason sneaks away from Damian, Joker in the background for the menu, the displayed Batman costume and cowl (especially in the last panel in a great focal point perspective trick with Bruce standing up), and the question marks and Ha!Ha!'s that would foreshadow the upcoming War of Jokes and Riddles storyline
- The scene of Bruce cutting the cheeseburger...that panel alone is quite amazing detail from Finch!
