DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!Two 17x22 sheets. First is original art for the cover of what was to be the merging of the two titles, Dan O'Neill's Comics and Stories and Air Pirates. This issue never came into print, likely due to ongoing lawsuit issues w/Disney. Blue pencil w/ink by Gary Hallgren. Great image of Mickey (revolver in hand) in the Hall of Mirrors w/Phantom Blot (also armed) as his mirrored image. Signed by Hallgren. Second board has airbrushed areas for color breaks but was not broken down further into 4 colors. Lt. aging/handling wear. Exc. This rare piece has been in the collection since the 1970s.
