Armored Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum) by Jeff Tellez

Smallville was, and still is, one of my favorite TV shows of all time. Michael Rosenbaum and his portrayal of Lex Luthor, was a big part of the reason why I loved the show so much. I liked the way they recreated the origins of Lex and Clark that made them one time friends. Lex doesn’t start off as a villain but a series of events transforms him into one. So it’s no surprise that being a Lex Luthor art collector, that I wanted Rosenbaum represented in the ColLEXion. Enter artist Jeff Tellez, whose uncanny ability to nail actor’s likenesses made him the perfect artist to commission a Rosenbaum Lex sketch from. But I didn’t just want Lex. I wanted something we didn’t get to see in the show. I wanted Rosenbaum in Lex’s warsuit. Jeff more than delivered.
