The vintage era of John Buscema Avengers! We can see some of that barbarian battle action he would eventually use for Conan. Every panel has so much emotion and energy behind the classical drawings of anatomy in struggle!
Phenomenal battle page by John Buscema and Jim Mooney! Love this all-out battle between the Avengers and the Mutates in the Savage Land! Great action scenes for each of the Avengers as Iron Man, Vision, and Thor clobber everything in their way. Lady Sif gets captured but other than that, it looks like the Avengers are winning the day! John Buscema had a long history drawing the Avengers and penciled a lot of their greatest issues. Mooney was a stalwart in the Bullpen who helped out on a lot of books. Fantastic pick-up, congrats!
