Description
This just arrived in yesterday's mail, my latest commission by the great Jim Burns! This began life when Jim posted a pencil drawing on Facebook and made the comment that he thought it might make a good painting someday. I responded back that if he would paint it I would purchase it, and that is just what happened. I have posted the pencil illustration below. Jim is a dream to work with and we quickly decided on the image size and color palette, and here is the finished painting that Jim has titled "Pathway to the Kysh Anomaly." Acrylics on board. 20 x 26.5 inches.

The pencil drawing is a little gem in and of itself, the final painting is just awesome! Congrats and thanks for sharing both of them!

All the time we use to take in the painting is well earned by Burns.  The thought put into it is brilliant and Burns delivers so much rich color and detail in all of it.  It makes you want to know more.

This is great but what else do you expect of someone with one of the top collections of artwork on the site?
