Description9x12 ink wash by Tim Sale 2014. I just feel fortunate to have a piece from him. I've read Batman: The Long Halloween many times now over the years and I always love the way he livens the scene with the use of dark shadows. I just wish I had a chance to meet him.Social/Sharing |

That's stunniing that the wash art is so dark! It gives off a feel of heavy mist and rain that adds to the dramatic shadows.

Great example of Tim's use of Wash tones to create atmosphere.
