PHALANX COVENANT part 2 from X-MEN THE ANIMATED SERIES Season 5 Episode 2 (September 7th, 1996)

The Phalanx Saga in the X-Titles was one of my first real X-Men crossover events back in the early 1990’s as reader and collector. Seeing it in cartoon form at the time was magical. This came out toward the end of the X-Men Animated series. These two episodes, like he comic counterpart, featured characters from a lot of various groups outside the normal collection of characters. Featured here is Magneto (David Hemblen, the voice I hear in my head when I read comics featuring Magneto, he really gave the character great life), Warlock (David Corban), and Beast (George Buza, who I also hear in my head for Beast when I read comics, really looking forward to his return in X-Men ‘97).

I really enjoyed this storyline in both the comics and the animation. I have a few pages from the Phalanx Saga (one featured in on here UCX #312) and now have an animation cel to go along with it.

Never watched the later episodes, so it's fun to see the animated Warlock. Congrats!

Warlock would be a tough character to pin down with animation. Cool to see!
