DescriptionIt goes without saying that this is probably the #1 all time most copied cover image from John Buscema's run at Marvel. Characters are switched in and out, but the layout is always the same.I was very excited to see this original art reproduction by John Buscema coming up for auction. I wanted one of these coveted copies and there are only a few known in existence. This page has exchanged hands only a few times as it is one of the few 100% pure art without stencils or overlays for this cover image. John Buscema Silver Surfer #4 Cover Re-Creation Original Art (c. 1998). "Big" John Buscema re-creates one of the most famous covers from the late Silver Age, and arguably one of his most popular Marvel Comic covers ever, in this cover re-creation of Silver Surfer #4. Thanks ... I have so many other recreations, reimagined, and repeat layout homage commissions in my collection, that I felt this was a must have. Being from the hands of "Big John" himself, makes this a wonderful addition and a rare item indeed. Can't wait to have it hanging in my gallery.

Looks tight like he did it during the prime of when he was making these. A popular choice of a commission even if you don't care for the characters because it's so iconic and meant so much as John Buscema's masterpiece.
