DescriptionHave to love Ian's surreal linework that he brings out in his pieces - it has a very organic and living feel to it and definitely stands out! Another great commission where I was not sure what to ask for, but as usual, Ian knocked it out of the park!Social/Sharing |

Ian and Tradd share a studio together. They are both pushing the envelope of comic art. It's great to see an artist like Ian consistently create unique works of art.

One must have intestinal fortitude to follow Bertram's art and see it for all it's visual glory!

You mean visceral gory, excuse me, glory. This piece has a lot of guts I'll you that.

I don't see Tradd in this artist but after reading the comment by Marcus I see this terrific commission in a new perspective. Either way is quite interesting.

I didn't know Ian and Tradd shared a studio and I know less how long that's been a thing for Tradd to influence Ian's work but I don't see the influence. I've been following Ian's work and rubenesque figures with scratchy pen lines is his style ornated by tubes, vines, and falling leaves or ash or manna for that matter. Nice to see Bertram return to Batgirl as his subject since his story in Batman Eternal. Great piece.

Mindblowing Ian Bertram Batgirl! She looks almost like she's being birthed from a plant of some kind...Hydroponics? Kinda cool, kinda spooky!
