Description

I picked this up at FanExpo SF over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend from Albert Moy and Liam. I've been a big fan of Liam's work for quite a while now, most specifically the Man-Thing work he's done (although all of his work is beyond impressive).

I just really appreciated the layout of this page from Shadows & Light #2, a Man-Thing story written by Marv Wolfman with outstanding art by Liam.

Huge thanks to Albert who was super nice and of course to Liam who was also top notch.

A nice and rare example of his earlier work in Marvel. It shows Sharp's lush inks as well as his imaginative montage composition on the larger scale paper. Very pleasing to the eye and an indication of how he would make subsequent runs on WW and GL the smash hits that they have become.
