Description

Terry Dodson and Rachel Dodson made a tour through the San Francisco Bay Area in November. They appeared at Zeppelin Comics in Benecia and Cape and Cowl Comics in Oakland before going to Flesk Publications in Santa Cruz to sign prints. In Oakland, the artists brought a portfolio of originals and a selection of prints. The store offered the handsome Adventureman hardcover collections and a large selection of single issues. Terry signed my books and drew remarques in the books. I bought a Princess Leia page and two prints ffrom the Dodsons and a small stack of comics from the clean, well-stocked store. It was great to see Terry and Rachel after three years. Flesk is publishing The Art of Rachel and Terry Dodson in 2023. Terry reports a conclusion to Red One is in the works. I haven’t read the comic, but this page appealed to me. It seems Princess Leia is on a mission and meeting a new contact. I like the exotic setting and the drawing of the figures.

Very nice with the refined Dodsons' finesse for female characters. His artwork always have an opulence to them.
