Description
I leaped at the opportunity for a Butch Guice commission offered through Graham Nolan's Indiegogo fundraiser for Giant-Size Two-Fisted Manly Tales. I loved his art on Birds of Prey--an innovative, fun ride--Storming Paradise, and Captain America. My request was for Captain America and Sharon Carter in a SHIELD outfit fighting Hydra in the vein of the early 1970 Cap and Falcon comics.

The prelim blew me away, and all I could say was "Wow and WOW!!"I Kirby, Romita Sr., and Sal Buscema would love it! I learned from Butch that he grew up reading Captain America from this time period and so was extra excited to draw the piece. The final commission arrived in all its glory today so I couldn't wait to scan and upload it to my CAF galley.

It would make a fabulous Marvel cover!

It has everything you want and then some!  I can even recognize with that giant mech that's far off, that Guice took from his Mircronauts work to have such a large scale battle scene.
