DescriptionI did love the AoA alternate spin on the X-Men. Nightcrawler no longer tied to his faith was far more hardcore, seen here bamfing off the finger of John Proudstar aka Thunderbird.Sadly Thunderbird lasted as bout as long in the AoA universe as he did in the regular 616 universe. Very happy also to have a ‘BAMF’ pasteup accompanying the artwork. Many thanks to Brian for parting with this one. It is a treasured part of my collection. Social/Sharing |

Did Nightcrawler just bamf some of Thunderbird's fingers away? This AOA event first issue that made everyone check out the new iteration of Excalibur whether they read it before or not. Lashley's art immediately grabs you and takes you on this journey.

Such a great page from AOA and full of nostalgia, I really enjoyed these characters as well, especially Nightcrawler as he was such a harder edge from the original. Huge congrats on finding an AOA page.

I love this page. I couldn't believe it when I first saw it in the 90s.
