What might have been, maybe? This cover prelim is labeled "Issue #20 B," but as fans of the New X-Men series know, the book was revamped as of that issue under a new creative team. This seems like it may have been meant for use with a story by the previous creative team which was abandoned in favor of the new one. Whatever the case, it's a pretty cool image of the team members by Aaron Lopresti.
