DescriptionI'm very happy to add another beautiful piece by Enrique to my collection: it's the 9th in all and the 2nd from Tex special issue #31, titled "Capitan Jack".The various inking techniques he used and the incredible accuracy he put in every single detail of this very long story (240 pages!) make this book one of his absolute masterworks. Sadly I have no idea what they are saying. I can only assume they are discussing cooking recipes for Nutella but I can never be to sure.

The white is so bright and the contrast is so stark! Only the scratchy crosshatching can it penetrate into the shadoes and the night.

Le tavole di Tex di E.Breccia sono imponenti, e qui lui fa un uso geniale dei neri, delle ombre, delle luci con i graffi e riflessi che definiscono i volumi come sa fare uno scultore con il marmo. Le tecniche e la sensibilità artistica di Enrique qui rendono onore alla tradizione lasciata dal padre Alberto. Un pezzo sublime. Complimenti.
