Noticed Alex’s work on instagram and he seemed to be into manga. His style usually leans towards Studio Ghibli’s style so that made me curious to his take on Guts.

The solid inks makes the shoulder armor have lots more shape and features more pronounced. All of it to support the expression of the face and the Dragon Slayer.

Those are some thick inks but love the subtle touch in his right arm! great piece.
