Description

There's not many character designs as good as Black Manta's. The darkness of its hue and the harshness of the suit is a metaphor for the man inside his own dark purpose solely focused on a harsh revenge. The way the suit is designed no part of his body is exposed and he sees the world through crimson lenses of anger. His rage. like his suit, keeps him isolated from humanity.

I chased this page for a couple of years before I gave it a home. I love the composition with Manta suddenly emerging from the chaos menacingly.
