I was recently introduced to Carlos Dearmas' artwork thanks to the power of CAF introducing me to great art friends with great art taste. After seeing several stunning commissions and illustration pieces, this piece caught my eye. While I'm not too familiar with this album I was first introduce to Leonard Cohen's work by way of Jeff Buckley's cover of Cohen's "Hallelujah" opus and then his Various Positions album.

This piece was drawn by Dearmas in 2022 and was his take on what he would have done for the album cover. A fitting tribute for what Dearmas called, "one of my favorite albums, "The Future" by the great Leonard Cohen."

Very lovely illustration. It reminds me at once of the graphic design sense of Joe Dragunas with the line stylings of Michael Kaluta.
