DescriptionNamor is one of my all time favorite characters, and one of my two favorite Marvel Characters! When Joe found this out as I was buying his Daredevil and Daredevil Father pages, he drew this as a gift! I LOVE IT!And then Marvel published it as a cover to Invaders #1! Joe Quesada is one of the best artists in modern era comics. He has a great eye and a great sense of composition and anatomy. Love this piece--It demonstrates his mastery of the medium.

This may be the first time I've ever seen a Quesada illustration with such perfectly clean lines and such little rendering. Almost like it's used for animation. Really neat gift, Nicky! Oh, and huge props to Kevin Nowlan for the killer inking job on the published cover.

The published cover defnitely got the star treatment with Nowlan and Isanove enhanced inks and paints. It's great when artists can still appreciate the fanboy in their fans.

Quesada's line work is so sublime. Love how clean these pencils are. Namor looking majestic in this calmer moment, Joe Q can do everything. Congrats!
