This was a private commission and not for sale. It is an homage to Edward Manet's "Lunchin on the Grass".

Fun fact: Manet�s Luncheon on the Grass is one of the most controversial paintings of the 19th century. It is a large canvas depicting a nude woman and two fully dressed men enjoying a picnic lunch in a park. The woman is clearly a prostitute, and the men are leering at her. The painting was denounced by the critics when it was first exhibited, and it was not shown again in public until after Manet�s death. Today, Luncheon on the Grass is recognized as one of the key works of French Impressionism. It is a masterpiece of light and color, and a bold statement about the nature of modern life. The painting challenges the traditional values of the time, and it continues to provoke strong reactions from viewers.
