8.5x11.25" artboard contains edge to edge painted preliminary art for the piece titled "Hide and Go Mad" by Ken Kelly. The art was chosen to be used for the cover of "Creepy" magazine issue #85 for Jan. 1977. Final art features two mountain climbers coming upon an enraged Yeti. This preliminary piece has a more subdued Yeti figure with skull in the snow. On right of art there are two rough figural forms showing the development of the final idea. Signed nicely by Kelly at lower left. Lt. aging/handling wear. Some surface paper loss on back side of art. Still VF.
