Just love Kane's Western covers!!

Killer cover West! Kane was so great at doing the Marvel western covers. This one would definitely stop you from twirling that spinner rack back in the day.

It's wonderful how he brings you right into the center of interest,composition wise.Gil Kane at his finest,congrats !

As an added note,I Just noticed where he signed it,very clever !

There's a very good reason Gil Kane was assigned more cover jobs than any other artist throughout the entirety of the 1970's. This cover is a perfect example of that reason. 'Nuff said!

An exciting, beautifully drawn cover!  And his hat got shot right off his head!!

Love Kane's covers and his Westerns in particular--and this is one of the best!  Jealous!!

The 70's was Kane's best artistic decade in Marvel covers.  His style flourished with dynamic action no matter what genre he worked on.  This Kid Colt cover puts us squarely in his gun sights as he avoids one to the head!   

Kane's western covers of this period are among some of my favorite work by hiim-far more than his superhero work for Marvel

Gorgeous Gl Kane cover! I love his composition here. And the figure work is fabulous! Western Comics are way underappreciated!
