Description

11x17 final stage for a full color recreation/commission for collector Bert Simmons.

Based on the original John Buscema cover for Avengers 56 featuring Captain America, Bucky, Hawkeye, GiantMan, and Black Panther. Here they are replaced by Batman, Jason Todd/Robin, Alfred, Jim Gordon, and Batgirl.

A large Joker portrait replaces the standard Marvel team logo (GiantMan, Hawkeye, BlackPanther, Wasp)

Hand drawn characters and Joker logo. Digital color and bottom title.
