Offered here is an original painted cover of a Mexican Comic I believe was penciled by Bazaldua (Óscar "Janeth" Bazaldua) and brilliantly painted by Jose Silva.
I was unfamiliar with Mexican comics until I discovered some of these paintings on eBay. The actual comic books are out of print, and very hard to find. By and large, these images are far more graphic and sexual than you would ever find in American comics. These two artists were very prolific, producing hundreds of these covers over the years. Now, both work for Marvel and DC.
In fact, Bazaldua is considered among the best and most prolific comic cover artists in Mexico. He has done work for horror, action, western, romance, and lucha libre comics among others. He lists his influences as John Buscema, Neal Adams, Rudy Nebres, and Frank Frazetta. If you look at the faces you will see the Frazetta influence. Some of the men look just like Johnny Comet.
This particular cover depicts a scene typically found in Mexican comics. Two men lasciviously eye a buxom showgirl, dancing with her skirt raised, while a wife stays at home with a baby. The painting has an image area of 9.5 x 10.75" on a larger 11 x 12" piece of 4-ply Cresent art board. Like most of these covers, the art is not signed. Still, the colors are stunning and the quality is very good... a true bargain in today's art market especially if you are a Frazetta fan.
