Deadman Deluxe 2 Wraparound Cover Color Guide

This is a color proof of the wraparound cover for the Deadman Deluxe Edition published in 1985 by DC Comics. Judging by the marking you can see that the colorist and Adams were being very precise about the new color job this series was getting. The seven issue series reprinted all of the Deadman stories from Strange Adventures 205-217, Brave and Bold issue 79 and 86 and some of Neal Adams stories from House of Mystery and The Witching Hour. This proof features the front and back covers for issue 2. The front and back covers for issues 1, 2, and 7 were actual original artwork created for this deluxe edition. The other issues featured reprinted covers. The series was printed on deluxe baxter paper with a high level of bright white surface that allowed for more vivid colors and detailed color gradients.
