Fantastic! Rare to see a fully finished painted original from Middleton. Big congrats! 

It's a mid leap captured like a elegant and powerful moment from a ballet when the orchestra hits its cresendo.

Not sure what it looked like before the touch up, but maybe you could ask Josh if he took a quick pic before he made the "improvements".  Would be great to see the before and after shots.  In any case, I love the mood and emotion of the image.  So playful and carefree.  It really IS stunning!

I have seen it actually. The differences are not marjoroty. Just like Josh mentioned rough edges probably less contrast and lightening. From an un-professional perspective I would still consider it was a quite finished piece to me. But when Josh finished a few details after it did make difference and been taken to the next level! :)

Wow, I don't read DC books and lost track of Josh Middleton for some time now. But this is truly stunning.

I'm flabbergasted at how I haven't commented on this piece yet! 

I love it, and I've loved it since the moment I first saw it. Middleton has achieved some sort of perfect synthesis of ratio/color/composition that just sings.
