Description

9x12" thin artboard has pen and ink original art with ink wash coloring/accents by Tim Sale, who worked w/Jeph Loab on the acclaimed limited comic book series "Spider-Man: Blue" in 2003. Great image depicts Dr. Curt Connors in his reptilian alter-ego of The Lizard, complete w/billowing lab coat. Created as a pin-up commission in 2008 as dated by Sale at lower right, under "For James! Sssss..." inscription. Sale has also signed at this area in black ink.

Tim Sale's composition by turning this horizontal is really fun as it gives Lizard plenty of space to be the flat four legged creature it is supposed to be.
