DescriptionSteve Rogers was Captain America way before having the supersoldier serum injected in his body.I love so much this page by Paolo Rivera, from his painted retelling of Marvel superheroes origins Mythos written by Paul Jenkins. I love how deep are the feelings expressed in the page throug Paolo's master brushstrokes, I love that portraits Steve drawing (I think that Rogers is the only superheroes who is, or at least dreamed to be an artist as his creators), I absolutely love the Hopper feeling of the whole page as a painting. And, I noticed the colors of the mother and the bed sheets and blanket... captain america costume colors :) nice touch. Social/Sharing |

Love this story and Paolo does a masterful job with his storytelling. I'm lucky to own a few pages and had the pleasure interviewing him about this specific issue on our show. The amount of research he did for this period piece was incredible. Great score!
