Tor #1 (DC, 1975)

This stunning cover features a revival of Kubert's character Tor! Tor was first published in a five-issue series from St. John Publications in 1953. His DC Comics run wasn't much longer, at only six issues. This new series started as a pitch for a newspaper comic strip version before being reformatted and expanded to this 16-Page issue. Even if you count the four-issue series from Marvel in 1993, there are still only a precious few Tor covers to be had! Only 15 in total.
