It's so distinctive to have the cape flair out like theat whenever Batman takes a big swing! He connects with thunderous impact for the kockout blow in this knockout Dwyer page!

-VERY- cool page, Hal! And Kieron's first published pro work?!? Epic score - great pick up! Panel 3's "knock the baddie into the lap of the reader" is fantastic, with that "3D" lettering (drawn over the samurai to help him sail along) really selling the action. And what action! The layout and rendering of Batman (with, just as Marcus said, the cape billowing out behind him) is -really- fabulous and the literal centerpiece of the page. Great inks on this thing, too; love all the shiny floors! :) Another great Batman add, Hal! Congrats!

So cool seeing Bats specifically in a martial arts contest! That middle panel kills. And Dwyer's first credited work?! BONUS. Congrats, H!

There are a lot of ways to start a fight, but Batman sure knows how to end one. KRAK!!! Excellent page!

Fantastic Batman page by Kieron Dwyer and Mike DeCarlo! So much fun seeing Batman take down a Samurai warror. That middle panel is pure gold! Funny to read that the final two panels feature Dennis O'Neil. A nice inside joke!
