Batman: Beyond the White Knight #1 p 20 prelim

Sean's layouts for a pivotal page detailing what happened to, at least in the Murphyverse, the first Robin when he was captured and tortured by the Joker before escaping. In continuity, Jason Todd, of course, was famously the second Robin who was tortured and killed by the Joker.

In issue BBTWK #2 Sean writes that he made a mistake in the original White Knight series when he included a graveyard scene showing Jason Todd on a tombstone. Sean had to write his way out of the mistake and include a detailed rewriting of Jason Todd's history.

Sean uses heavy ink wash and gives us enough details in the layouts to show a brooding Jason and a grizzled, aged Bruce Wayne. It pretty much matches the published page.
