Description

CARNAGE final prelim. I got a bit carried away, and ended up inking it...It's approx 10" x 14"--two pieces of 8 x 11 paper taped together...

I'd sent in a version of this prelim cropped down to cover size to show how the image would look printed--and my editor Tom Groneman (nice guy, btw) thought that it was the FINISHED inks, and PAID me for it! I was quite complimented by that--but naturally, I still went ahead with the pencils and inks of the final version also posted here...This was the FIRST time in my career that I ever got paid for a prelim--and the NICEST compliment that I've ever gotten from an editor! :)
