Description

In this short story written by Kevin Rubio (Troops) and drawn by Lucas Marangon (Tag and Bink), Yoda and Mace Windu debate whether Anakin Skywalker should be trained and whether he will be the one to bring balance to the force. Meanwhile, Buzz Lightyear (Toy Story), Robby the Robot (Forbidden Planet), Gort (The Day the Earth Stood Still), the Beatles, George Lucus, Jar Jar Binks, and others make an appearance in the background.

Nice one, for those of us who wore down the tape on the Pulp Fiction VHS, then stood 8 hours in line to buy movie tickets to The Phantom Menace in the 90s.

Beautiful page from probably one of the best short stories published by Dark Horse in Star Wars Tales that is a parody of the diner scene from Pulp Fiction, with Yoda and Mace Windu in the roles of both Vincent and Jules. Lucas Marangon's animated art style was perfect for the satirical nature of this clever story.
